What do respected scholars and Muftis of Islam say about the following issue? A person performs Qurbani every year. This year, he wishes to perform a Qurbani for the Isal-e-Sawab of his father in addition to the one he performs to fulfil his Wajib. Can Qurbani be performed on behalf of a deceased person for his Isal-e-Sawab? |

Yes. Qurbani can be performed on behalf of a deceased person for his Isal-e-Sawab. Performing Qurbani is a reward-reaping act and can be performed on behalf of a deceased person as well. |
